Glasgow has a great deal of modern hotel accommodation in the city centre partially due to the building of several newer budget hotels in the last decade. Many of the hotels adjoin the River Clyde area. There is also hotel accommodation close to Glasgow Airport within walking distance of the terminal buildings.
